Out with the old and in with the new, as people can’t wait to say good bye to 2009 and welcome a prosperous 2010. New Year's Eve is the biggest night of the year in Las Vegas as people come from all over the world to ring in the New Year with an impressive party that is truly unforgettable. There are plenty of things to do in Las Vegas, from visiting the casinos, dining out, or visiting one of the many special New Years Eve parties including the famous street parties which take place on the Strip or Downtown. Thousands of people flock to the Strip and Fremont Street to have a great time with a party atmosphere that only Vegas could pull off. A must see event is the firework extravaganza that takes place at midnight from the tops of casinos along the Strip. This fireworks show lights up the sky and is truly a world-class presentation. The party downtown on Fremont Street should not be overlooked because it is equally as impressive with live performances all through the night for a packed crowd.
